Employee Share Plan Strategy

Companies introduce employee share plans for many reasons, and it is important to formulate the corporate objectives at the outset. We work with clients to fully understand what they want to achieve, and this will often include looking into issues such as:

  • Overall remuneration strategy;
  • Is the intention to introduce a discretionary plan for executives or a plan which encompasses all employees, or a combination of the two;
  • To what extent can the company utilise tax advantaged share plans;
  • What type and level of share plan arrangements will be acceptable to shareholders;
  • Does the company wish to introduce share plans into countries other than the UK;

Share Plan Design and Implementation
